These images from Sara Terry document the aftermath of the war in Bosnia. They are classic documentary images in that they take us to where we have not gone and they show us the meaning of a situation by isolating its moments, by cutting to the essential. This story goes deep because the photographer goes deep. These photographs stay with us because the “moment,” was stopped for us.
